Snook have been the headline this week, and they’re showing up right where you’d expect this time of year. Early mornings and those last light windows before dark have been the sweet spot, with fish staging tight to structure and cruising the edges.

When they flip the switch and start feeding, it gets fast. Live bait has been getting crushed almost instantly, especially around docks, mangroves, and deeper cuts. If you’re throwing artificials, timing is everything. Hit that low light window and you’ll get the reaction bites.

We’ve been working the Indian River and nearby backwater zones, keeping things quiet and picking apart those ambush points. Clean water, steady bait presence, and just enough current to keep things moving has made all the difference.

If you’ve been waiting for the snook bite to line up, this is it.

Ready to get on them? Let’s time the tide right and go find your fish. Book your trip with Capt. Chad today.
