New Smyrna Beach Fishing Report – September

The Redfish Bite Is Staying Strong
The redfish bite continues to be solid around New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach. We’ve been finding some beautiful reds throughout the backwaters, creeks, and inshore waters, and they’ve been keeping rods bent and anglers busy.
September is a great time to be on the water. The redfish are pulling hard, and there’s nothing better than watching a first time angler or one of the kids feel that first big run.

Inshore Action Around New Smyrna Beach
Every morning starts a little differently. Tides, weather, and water conditions determine where we begin and how we fish, but we’ve been able to stay on the fish and put together some great trips.
Redfish have been the main attraction, but the Indian River Lagoon and Mosquito Lagoon offer plenty of variety. Depending on the conditions, you never know what might eat the bait next.

Fall Fishing Is Coming
Fall is right around the corner, and it’s one of our favorite times of year to fish these waters. The inshore bite brings plenty of opportunities for redfish, flounder, and black drum as the season changes.
If you’ve been thinking about getting out on the water, now is a great time to plan a trip.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or bringing the family out for their first fishing trip, Capt. Chad will adjust the day to the conditions and your crew.
