The fishing around New Smyrna Beach has been delivering plenty of action, with a great mix of oversized redfish, snook, flounder, trout, mangrove snapper, and enough fish to keep the cooler looking good.

Redfish and Snook Stealing the Show

The inlet and nearshore bite has been especially exciting. We've put several guests on oversized redfish that made long, hard runs right along the rocks, and a few quality snook have been mixed in as well. The early morning hours and low light conditions have been giving us the best opportunities to hook these powerful fish.

Steady Inshore Action

Inside the Indian River Lagoon, the bite has stayed consistent. Flounder have been showing up in solid numbers, and we've been putting together nice mixed bags of flounder, trout, and mangrove snapper. Some trips have focused on chasing that one trophy fish, while others have been all about filling the cooler with fresh fish for dinner.

Fun for Every Angler

One of the best parts of this stretch has been watching families, couples, and first time anglers enjoy success on the water. Whether you're hoping to battle a bull redfish, catch your first snook, or bring home a fresh seafood dinner, there are plenty of opportunities right now around New Smyrna Beach.

The fishing is only getting better, and there's no better time to get on the water.

Book your trip with Reel Deal Fishin' Charters and let's see what we can hook next.
