The bite has been steady this week, and it’s been the kind of fishing that keeps rods bent and smiles coming easy.

Sheepshead and black drum are leading the action right now, especially around docks, pilings, and heavier structure. Drop a bait in the right spot and it doesn’t take long before you feel that thump and see the rod load up.

We’ve been working tight to structure in the Indian River and backwater areas, and it’s producing consistent hookups. It’s hands-on fishing, but perfect for beginners and kids getting in on the action without long waits between bites.

Coolers are starting to fill, and more importantly, families are leaving with stories and a few fish to take home. That’s what it’s all about this time of year.

Now’s a great time to get out on the water while the bite is steady and the conditions are right.

⚓ Ready to get in on it? Book your trip with Capt. Chad and let’s go fishing.
